Kofo Babatunde is a teacher of over 35 years of experience in Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, and Nigeria. She has taught in the high school, preschool, and adult ESL schools over those years. She worked with children with ‘Special Needs’ while at The British School of the Netherlands.  She is hence multi-cultural, which gives her a very unique advantage to easily accommodate, and integrate with people of different cultures, creed,s and at different levels.

Her special love for little children/toddlers brought her back to starting a Day Home in her residence. She believes building confidence and emotional stability in a child, is both the function of the efforts of the parents and the significant adult working with them.  Kofo and her husband Sam have four adult children, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. Sam is an avid supporter of Oma’s Place, a strategist par excellence. 

Oma’s provider has valid  Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates. She also has a Level One Early Childhood Education Certification, plus short-term courses certification to enhance her capacity..
